2nd China-Africa Forum on Science Education：Science Education Development in the Digital Age
科学教育是提升国家科技竞争力、培养创新人才、提高全民科学素质的重要基础，也是促进人发展和促进社会发展的重要途径。在数字技术快速发展的今天，科学教育被全球各国视为优先发展领域，中国与非洲均制定了科学教育政策、开展着面向青少年的科学课程改革，旨在提升青少年科学素养、创新思维。
Science education is an important foundation for enhancing national scientific and technological competitiveness, training innovative talents and improving the scientific quality of all people, as well as an important way to promote human development and foster social development. Today, with the rapid development of digital technology, science education is regarded as a priority area of development by countries all over the world, and both China and Africa have formulated policies on science education and carried out reforms of science curricula for young people, aiming to enhance their scientific literacy and innovative thinking.
2023年首届中非科学教育论坛在浙江师范大学举行，来自中非多国的专家、留学生与科学教育领域的研究生，共同探讨科学教育的前沿议题。会议期间成立中非科学教育合作中心。
In 2023, the first China-Africa Forum on Science Education was held at Zhejiang Normal University, where experts, international students and graduate students in the field of science education from many countries in China and Africa discussed cutting-edge topics in science education. The China-Africa Science Education Cooperation Center was established during the conference.
在中非开启外交关系68周年、中坦建交60周年之际，第二届中非科学教育论坛将于2024年7月12日在非洲坦桑尼亚召开，来自中国、非洲南非、卢旺达、肯尼亚、埃塞俄比亚、坦桑尼亚等国家的国际或区域性组织代表、教育领导者、科学家、科学教育研究者等将围绕“数字时代的科学教育发展”展开学术讨论与交流。
On the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Africa and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Tanzania, the second China-Africa Forum on Science and Education will be held in Tanzania, Africa, on July 12, 2024. Representatives of international or regional organizations, education leaders, scientists and science education researchers from China, South Africa, Rwanda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania and other countries will hold academic discussions and exchanges on "The Science Education Development in the Digital Age".
